The ‘terraces’ are the distinguishing feature of this cabinet and give it its name; terrassen is Dutch for terraces. They may not be as impressive as the terraces of Fes, but are ideal for belongings that you wish to showcase.

For our next project we’re using wood reclaimed from the building we reside in. First things first: removing that awful paint.

The beginning of a new project, a piece for the hallway of Het Ambachtslab. The wood we are using for this piece is reclaimed from the same building. Never throw away waste. 🙂

Allegaar is the first and so far only coffee table in Espenaer’s collection. It’s made out of four different types of wood – ash, elm, maple, and walnut – creating a beautiful display of contrasting wood colors.

Last year we were lucky to acquire two batches of vintage tools. The first belonged to a retired woodworker who specialized in wooden barometers, the second belonged to the great-great-grandfather of a relative.
